HMA HAPPENINGS

What is HMA?
Home Ministry Assignment.

Our mission agency, Mission to the World (MTW), requires all their missionaries to spend a time period in the States every four years. It's a time to visit supporting churches and individuals and give an account of the work God is doing in our host country. Also a time to raise financial support and grow our support team.

We are a little more than half way through our HMA.  We have visited with so many dear friends and amazing churches.  The LORD has been gracious to us in so many ways. We have had fairly good health and traveling safety.  He has provided us with restful places to stay and lots of 'play' time.

Currently we are in Dauphin Island where we get to 'home base' for the next three weeks thanks to some very gracious friends letting us use their vacation home.  Tomorrow we pack a weekend bag and drive to Gainesville FL to attend Christ Community's mission conference.

Oct 18-20: Christ Community, Gainesville FL
Oct 27: Grace Fellowship, Gulf Shores AL
Nov 3: Grace Community, Mobile AL
Nov 8-10: MTW Global Mission Conference, Greenville SC
Nov 20 we start making our way to TX!
Dec 1st: Covenant PCA, Harlingen TX
Dec 8th: Christ the King, Austin TX
Dec 15th: Westminster, Bryan/College Station TX
Dec 31st: HOME TO HONDURAS!

We are trying hard to 'be all here' and enjoy the day and the task that the LORD has ordained for us today.  But honestly, we are just a little bit ready to be back in our own beds - our own routine - back with our baby boy!

Today marks one year that Elias came to live with us.  We continue to be amazed at the paths God ordains for our lives....so different than what we ever could have ever dreamed.

We love this crazy life God has called us to!
