Trinity Presbyterian - Mission Trip - February 2012

This past week we hosted our first team of 2012. We were sad that we personally had to leave half-way through the Dr Greg and Pastor Dave’s trip. But, excited that they were able to minister in Honduras this past week -- especially as Team Honduras launched 3 new ministries: Puerta de Esperanza (home for teen moms run by our team mate Shannon Innes), Street Kids Ministry (run by our team mate Kate DeFuniak, and La Fe (run by our team mates Michael Troxell and Ashley Kyle Troxell)

On another note -- our sweet Abigail girl placed 1st in the Honduran National Spelling Bee for bilingual schools. We are very proud of her and give all credit and glory to God for giving her her abilities and talents. One of the first thing she said to us was , “I prayed!”

Our residency papers are still not in. Supposedly they will be ready next Thursday!?!? Thanks for your prayers as we near the end of the residency visa process.
