The Hawkes Family

The family of six that is here serving this week has been working hard! They have been building a home for Maria, a single pregnant mother.  Speaking of pregnant - Maria is ready to give birth any day now!  On Monday they worked in the rain - talk about muddy! In the afternoon they played with the kids and helped with ESL. On Tuesday they continued construction in the am and Kids Club in the pm, thankfully NOT in the rain.  Yesterday it was work work work in the hot sun on Maria’s house followed by an afternoon of playing in the river with the Honduran kids from the village.  Today is not just construction, but also our medical clinic day.  It has been such a joy watching The Hawkes spending their summer vacation serving the Lord together as a family!
