Harlingen Home
Sunday around 1am we picked up sleeping kids and buckled them into the car. We headed out from our friends home in Pensacola, FL for our 14+ hour drive to Harlingen. We arrived around 3pm. It was all smiles and squeals from all 6 of us - not just the kids! Or should I say 7 - the dog was glad too! I must say it was really nice to wake up in our own beds this am. We loved being able to visit with family and friends - but, ready to get back home and back into "routine". The kids start school on the 24th, so we have two weeks to get ready. Once school starts John and I will get busy putting all our belongings on e-bay and Craig's list. We are planning on selling most everything and rebuying in Honduras. Please be praying for us that we would be able to quickly reraise our lost financial support and get all our belongings sold. Thanks for "walking" this process/phase with us!
So glad you made it safely back to Harlingen and familiar beds and toys. These next few months will also be full of decisions - what to sell, what to store, what to take. Will pray that you can take it a day at a time and can enjoy the next couple weeks as you get prepared for the school year.
